Woman arrested following husband's murder (October 25, 2012) |
WAYNESBURG — Lincoln County Sheriff’s office arrested Tamara Richie after she admitted to killing her husband, David Richie, in his sleep at their home on New Lane.
According to Sheriff Curt Folger, they received a call from the sister of the accused about 7:30 a.m. notifying them that Richie had called and admitted to killing her husband. Police located Tamara Richie at the sister’s home. Folger says the motive is not yet known.
She was taken into police custody and is lodged in the Lincoln County Regional Jail.
