HARRODSBURG — Carroll “Birchell” Coslow, 71, died Wednesday in Denver, Colo.

Born Nov. 15, 1940, in Willisburg, he was the son of the late Calvin Turner and Nellie James Peavler Coslow. He was a Lt. Col. USAF (Ret.), senior navigator and assistant judge advocate. He was an attorney advisor for the Air Force Army, and Dept. of Defense and associate general counsel for the Defense Finance and Accounting Service.

 He was a member of the Harrodsburg Historical Society, a member of the Kentucky Genealogical Society, a Kentucky Colonel and a private pilot.

Survivor includes a nephew, Kenneth Sallee of Harrodsburg.

A graveside service with military rites will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Battle Cemetery in Washington County.
