HARRODSBURG — Donna Sue Stinnett, 63, of Stanford, formerly of Harrodsburg, died Thursday, March 22, 2012, at her residence. She was the wife of Larry Stinnett.
Born Dec. 29, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Hazel Shannahan Boswell. Donna was an employee of Modine Inc. where she retired after 27 years of service. She enjoyed bingo, sewing and raising flowers.
Survivors in addition to her husband include one son, Brian Carter of Harrodsburg; two stepsons: Larry (Sherry) Stinnett of Garrard County and Stephen Stinnett of Harrodsburg; two daughters, Dana Carter Broce and Christy (Steven) Carter Floyd, both of Stanford; one stepdaughter, Michelle (Dean) Lewis of Lancaster; one sister, Diane Hilvers of Florida; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. today at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home with Bro. Lewis Walter officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery with Richard Stinnett, Dillon Stinnett, Jacob Harlow, Bill Klop, Chris Smith and Timmy Stinnett serving as pallbearers.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. until the time of the service today.
