CRAB ORCHARD — Lena Faye Coldiron Palmer, 75, of Crab Orchard, passed away Thursday at Christian Care Center in Lancaster.
Born May 28, 1937 in Crab Orchard, she was a daughter of the late Jesse E. and Judy Neal Coldiron. Lena was a member of Watts Chapel Baptist Church and a retired cosmetologist.
Survivors include a daughter, Kathy (Steve) Bennett of Stanford; two brothers, Daniel “Boots” Coldiron of Nicholasville and George (Marie) Coldiron of Danville; four grandchildren, Anthony Shane Pingleton, Heather Renee Douglas, Stephanie Dee Frazier and Joshua Allen Shelton; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A daughter, Lesa Singleton, two brothers, Vernon Lee and Fred Ernest Coldiron, and two sisters, Virginia Mullins and Hala Benge, preceded Lena in death.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at McKnight Funeral Home with Bro. Dan Gutenson officiating. Burial will be in Coldiron Cemetery.
Visitation was Saturday.
Pallbearers include Derryl Benge, Charlie Douglas, Joel Bennett, Danny Ray Coldiron, Ralph Mullins and Doug Smith.
