Cortney Renea Beldon Hensley, 28, died March 9, 2013, in Laurel County.
Born March 29, 1984, in Danville, she was a daughter of Joseph Harse and Jeanette Phillips Beldon. A 2002 graduate of Boyle County High School, Cortney played soccer, basketball and softball and was voted Funniest Senior. She earned a degree in criminal justice from Eastern Kentucky University. She attended Dorthae Pentecostal Church in Corbin.
Cortney was a beautiful young lady with a great smile and a good sense of humor who lived life to the fullest. She had compassion for others and took time to be a thoughtful and loving friend, wife, daughter and sister. Cortney married the love of her life, Travis Joel Hensley, on Oct. 6, 2012.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she is survived by her sister, Ashley (Jason) Moody of Harrodsburg; a brother, Joey R. (Sara) Beldon of Fort Campbell; mother and father-in-law, Larry and Debbie Hensley of Corbin; two sisters-in-law, Jennifer (Darrell) Zilinsky and Megan Renee Hensley, all of Corbin; a niece, Emma Marie Zilinsky; a nephew, Carson Riley Beldon; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Gethsemane Baptist Church with Bros. Steve James and Billy Evans officiating. Burial will be in Hustonville Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Monday and 11 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the church.
