Pearl Caddy Nicholas, formerly of Lancaster, died Dec. 6, 2012, in Bradenton, Fla.
The widow of Rev. Ted Nicholas, she was a schoolteacher in various towns throughout Kentucky and later served as receptionist for Centenary United Methodist Church in Lexington.
Survivors include a son, Lt. General Theodore Nicholas; a daughter; Carol Nicholas Petrie; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012 at Centenary United Methodist Church in Lexington. Visitation will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the church.
