HARRODSBURG — Guilford C. Waggener, 87, of Burgin, widower of Nancy L. Waggener, died Friday.
Born in Burgin, he was a son of the late William and Mary Ruth Green Waggener. He was a retired farmer and a World War II veteran.
Survivors include four children, Mary Anna Welch, Jeanette Peyton, Ruth Loane and William Waggener; two siblings, Frances Alsop and Bill Waggener; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A daughter, Carolyn Waggener, preceded him in death.
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Burgin Baptist Church.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Monday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
