LANCASTER — Christine Palmer, 72, died Thursday.
Born in Paint Lick, she was a daughter of the late William and Maggie Hatfield Ballard. She was the recipient of the first Customer Service Award presented by the Garrard County Chamber of Commerce.
Survivors include a son, Kenny Palmer of Lancaster; two brothers, Howard Ballard of Garrard County and Lloyd Ballard of Florida; three sisters; Katie Terry of Stanford and Ella Mae Whittaker and Martha Walton, both of Garrard County; a grandson; Kyle Palmer; and a great-grandson; Jamie Palmer.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Ramsey Funeral Home.
