Allene Stevens Alexander, 85, widow of S.C. “Red” Alexander, died June 19, 2012.
Born Nov. 11, 1926, in Lancaster, Ky., she was a daughter of the late Arch and Loudella Cox Stevens. Allene was a former co-owner of Imperial Mobile Home Park and a member of Centenary United Methodist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Sandy (Glenn) Gorley of Danville, Ky., Linda (Perry) Crosthwaite of Shelbyville, Ind., and Judy (Dickie) Gilbert of Stanford, Ky.; six grandchildren, Tammy (Steve) Carr, Steven (Courtney) Boyd, Ashley (Mandy) Gorley, Camille (Jason) Lamb, Rebecca (Jason) Davis, Bruce Gilbert and Brittany Gilbert; and six great-grandchildren, Rachel Carr, Caleb, Sadie and Kyler Gorley, Troy Davis, and Sally and Clay Boyd.
She was predeceased by a son, Terry C. Alexander.
Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Thursday at Centenary United Methodist Church Christian Life Center.
Services will be private.
