CRAB ORCHARD — Beatrice Smith Perry, 80, wife of Arthur Perry died Friday, Oct. 26, 2012, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Beatrice was born on Feb. 6, 1932, in Bandy, Ky. She was the daughter of the late William Hubert and Luceal Poynter Smith. She was a former seamstress for Cowdens Manufacturing. She married Arthur on March 31, 1950. They enjoyed 62 years of marriage.
Survivors include a son, Randall (Rita) Perry; two grandchildren, Melissa Lee (Jason) Lawrence, and April Michelle Bell; two half-sisters, Ann (Burgess) French and Betty Huffines; and two half-brothers, Jack Smith and Bill (Mary Anny) Smith.
She was preceded in death by a son, Eddie Ray Perry; a sister, Della May Camplecci; and a brother, Marlin Lee Smith.
Memorial visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29, 2012 at McKnight Funeral Home.
