STANFORD — Carl Michael Long, 63, of Stanford, died Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2012, at home.
Born in Danville on Feb. 3, 1949, to the late Carl and Ruth House Long, he was a member of Willow Grove Baptist Church and Stanford Masonic Lodge #60.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Ann Long of Stanford; one daughter, Kisha Buis (P.J.) of Lancaster; one grandson, Brantley Caleb Buis; and Tipton, his faithful furry friend.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012, at Willow Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Johnny Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Danville Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Monday, Sept. 17, 2012, at the church.
Pallbearers will be Bruce Rankin, Bobby Grubbs, Johnny Wilcher, Laurent Nash, Tony House and Keith Hamm.
Spurlin Funeral Home Stanford is in charge of arrangements.
