LIBERTY — Clarence Rigney, 86, died Tuesday.
Born Aug. 30, 1926, in Argyle, he was a son of the late Albert and Florence Foster Rigney. He had been an employee of Goodyear and a state trooper, and was a Marine Corps veteran. He was the widower of Bernice Estes Rigney.
Survivors include a daughter, Chandra Leaverton of Richmond; a son, James Rigney of Richmond; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a brother, Cleo Rigney; and a sister, Lola McAninch.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Bartle Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. Saturday.
