WAYNESBURG — Delcie Holbrooks Taylor, 92, of Big Stone Gap, Va., formerly of Waynesburg, died Tuesday.
Born Dec. 25, 1919, in Floyd County, she was the daughter of the late Cleveland and Mary Adams Holbrooks. She was the widow of Clyde Taylor.
Survivors include a brother, Grover Holbrooks of Lincoln Park, Mich.; a special niece, Alice Triplett of Ranger, Ga.; and several other nieces and nephews.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Little Pilgrims Rock Old Regular Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Good Hope Cemetery in Eubank.
Visitation is 4-7 p.m. today at Barnett & Demrow Funeral and after 9 a.m. Friday at the church.
