HARRODSBURG — Donald Bruce Brown, 71, husband of 54 years of Ruth Esther Turner Brown, died Friday, July 13, 2012, in Lexington.
Born Nov. 12, 1940, in Burgin, he was a 1958 graduate of Burgin High School. He was retired from Corning and was a firefighter with the Burgin Fire Department, serving as chief for 36 years.
Other survivors include three daughters, Mary Nixon, Donna Brown and Lynda Brown; six grandchildren; a great-grandchild and one expected.
Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and after 7 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
