RUSSELL SPRINGS — Elizabeth Smith Sharp, 95, died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013. She was the widow of Charles Sharp.

Born Oct. 20, 1917, she was a daughter of to the late J.W. and Bessie Smith Kimble. She was a homemaker, a member of Coffey’s Chapel United Methodist Church, and she and her husband operated the Dr. Pepper Bottling Co. in Danville from 1954 to 1972.

Survivors include a son, Donal Sharp of Waco, Texas; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She also was preceded in death by a son, Ronal Sharp.

Service will be 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, at Coffey’s Chapel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Laura Harris and Bro. Roger Garner officiating. Burial will follow in Russell Springs City Cemetery. 

Visitation is 5-8 p.m. today at Wilson Funeral Home in Russell Springs and after 10 a.m. Friday at the church.
