LIBERTY — Eugene Franklin Watson, 81, died Tuesday at his home in New Castle.
Born July 1, 1931, in Casey County, he was a son of the late Robert F. and Mary Etta Clements Watson. He was retired from Ford Motor Co. and a Navy veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Lucy Grider Watson; a son, Tim Watson of New Castle; two daughters, Sharon Heady of Fishersville and Teresa Jones of Bedford; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Jerry Watson of Ohio; and four sisters, Christine Moore and Ivadean Short, both of Liberty, and Lois Black and Ethel Morris, both of Ohio.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Friday.
