HARRODSBURG — Franklin Boyd Long, 65, widower of Corene Pendergraft Long, died Saturday.
Born May 24, 1947, in Mercer County, he was a son of the late George Bradley and Jessie Lee Norton Long. He was an Army veteran of Vietnam and retired from Square D.
Survivors include a son, Gary Long of Mercer County; two daughters, Christina Portwood of Georgetown and Joetta Salmons of Corinth; a brother, David Long; three sisters, Betty Barne, Arnetta Hendren and Norene Baker; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Wednesday and after 7 a.m. Thursday.
