HARRODSBURG — Gary Cooper, 52, of Harrodsburg, died Thursday.
Born June 11, 1960, in Knoxville, Tenn., he was the son of the late Melvin H. and Letha Mae Teague Cooper. He was the husband of Belinda Kurtz. He was a heavy equipment operator.
Survivors include two sisters, Teresa Whaley and Shelly Teague; one brother, Melvin Cooper Jr.; a step-daughter, Melissa Sue Phillips; a step-son, Michael Dale Phillips; and five grandchildren.
A private service will be held at a later date.
