STANFORD — Helen Ruth Foley Berry, 67, of Stanford, Ky., died March 17, 2013, in Lexington, Ky.
Born March 25, 1945, in Lincoln County, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Chester and Susie Katherine Hazlett Foley. The oldest of 12 children, she was a homemaker, the widow of the late Carl Gene Berry, and mother to all who loved her.
Survivors include three daughters, Jeanie Berry, Joanie House and Ruthie Crawley (Bobby), all of Stanford; four sisters, Gracie Crawley (Eddie) of Lancaster, Ky., and Linda Griffin, Connie Coppage (Bruce) and Edna Raider, all of Stanford; nine grandchildren, Aron Berry, Billy Crawley, Travis Crawley, Rodney Berry, Cameron House, Conner Mullins, Holly House, Helen Yocum and Maranda Crawley; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Ernie, Ricky, David and Ronnie Foley; and three sisters, Bonnie Scharbrough, Daisy Foley and Iona Huffman.
A one day service will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2013. Public visitation will be from noon-2 p.m. and the funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. with Jason Coulter officiating. Burial will be at Robbins Cemetery in Stanford.
Casketbearers will be Sam Scharbrough, Kevin Crawley, Eddie Crawley Jr., Donald Raider Jr., Bruce Coppage Jr. and William Davidson III.
