CRAB¿ORCHARD — Henry Foster Blankenship, 94, passed away Monday, Nov. 7, 2011, at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. 

Born July 31, 1917, in the Pulaski County, Ky., he was the son of the late Chester G. and Bessie Eubank Blankenship. He was the husband of Audrey F. Reynolds Blankenship, whom he married April 18, 1942. He was an elder of Crab Orchard Christian Church and a member of Crab Orchard Masonic Lodge No. 636 for more than 50 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during World War II, and a member of Caswell Saufley American Legion Post 18 of Stanford, Ky. He was a lifelong farmer and a coal-hauler for many years. 

Survivors Include his wife of 69 years, Audrey Blankenship; two nieces, Sue Bullock and Debbie Mounce; a nephew, Allen (Patti) Anderson; and a host of other special nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Isaac; and two sisters, Glenda Anderson and Gladys Coleman.

The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 11, 2011, at McKnight Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Dale Hunt, minister of Crab Orchard Christian Church, and Eugene Reynolds. Burial will be in Woodstock Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Allen Anderson, Barry Bullock, Jamie and Brad Mounce, Mike Reichenbach and Tim Estes.

Honorary pallbearers will be John and Josh Anderson, Mike Estes, Orville Whitaker, Jesse and Jerry Shelton.

Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, 2011, at McKnight Funeral Home Chapel.
