Herman Wayne Scott
1942-2012
LIBERTY — Herman Wayne Scott, 70, died Wednesday.
Born April 15, 1942, in Casey County, he was a son of the late John E. and Ruth L. Cochran Scott. He was an Army veteran and truck driver.
Survivors include his wife, Martha Derringer Scott; two sons, Talmadge and Terry Derringer; four daughters, Melissa Dawn Taylor, Karen Atwood, Connie Posey and Patricia Statom; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; five brothers, James, Leonard, Greg, Jerry and Lonnie Scott; and three sisters, Mary Ruth Alsup, Shirley Olsen and Eva Albright.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m. today.
