LIBERTY — James Edward Zeiss, 67, died Sept. 15, 2011, at his home on Hustonville Street in Liberty.
Born July 15, 1944, in Elmhurst, Ill., he was the son of the late Frank Albert and Helen Barbara Baumbach Zeiss. He was a retired Navy veteran and loved to take long walks around town.
Survivors include three brothers, Ron and Jerry Zeiss, both of Liberty, and Tom Zeiss of Chicago, Ill.; and a sister, Barbara Zeiss of Liberty.
There will be no service. Burial will be at sea by the United States Navy.
