HARRODSBURG — James R. Moore, 89, of Harrodsburg, husband of Amy Lois Dockery Moore, died Saturday.
Born April 4, 1923, in Key, he was a son of the late John W. and Emily Back Moore. He served in World War II in the Army and retired from General Motors.
Other survivors include daughters, Rosemary McDuffie, Peggy Monaham and Karen Moore; a son, James R. Moore; stepdaughters, D'Lois Bryant, Shirley Morris and Geneva Lee; 15 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Temrowski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Fenton, Mich.
Visitation is 5-7 p.m. today at Sims Funeral Services in Harrodsburg.
