JUNCTION CITY - Johnny Carl Sargent, 70, of Lancaster, died Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at the UK Medical Center.
Born Jan. 31, 1943, in Boyle County, he was the son of the late Marion Lee and Osie Mae Neikirk Sargent. He attended Boyle County schools and served in the National Guard. He was a heavy equipment operator for Woodall Construction Co.
Survivors include four children, Kevin (Deanna) Sargent of Stanford, Carla Hall of Brodhead, Carrie Isaacs of Lancaster and Kathy (Darcy) Perkins of Danville; a sister, Helen (Tom) Wilburn of Junction City; a brother, Robert (Anne) Sargent of Inverness, Fla.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. today, Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, at Stith Funeral Home, Junction City.
