Joyce LaVerne Edwards, 85, passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2012, after a brief illness.
She previously had worked as an Avon representative for more than 35 years, at Farmers National Bank in Danville, and at The Hub on Main Street in Danville.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Parksville Cemetery.
Visitation will be 1:30-5 p.m. Sunday, July 22, 2012, at the funeral home.
Per the families’ request, donations may be made to Danville-Boyle County Humane Society, Parksville Cemetery Committee or any breast cancer awareness group.
