Linda C. Holt
1948-2012
HARRODSBURG — Mrs. Linda Carol Holt, 64, wife of Bronston Holt of Harrodsburg, died Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012, at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.
Born Jan. 30, 1948, in Harrodsburg, she was a daughter of the late Oscar Marion and Ruby Eunice Hurst Craig. She was the owner of The Golden Comb where she was a hairstylist. She attended Fellowship Baptist Church and enjoyed cooking, camping and flower gardening.
Additional survivors include a son, Willie C. (Elaine) Turpin Jr. of Harrodsburg; two daughters, Loria Sherrow of Harrodsburg and Monica Turpin of Lexington; two brothers, Chester Craig of Harrodsburg and Steve Craig; a sister, Anita Bowman of Nicholasville; six grandchildren, Heather, Victoria, Ashley and Johnathon Sherrow, and Andrew and Georgia Turpin; and a great-grandson, Nicholas VanCarter Steele Adams. She was preceded in death by a brother, Hasten Wilham Jr., and a sister, Geneva Marie Rider.
Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 19, 2012, at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home with Bro. John David Lane officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Sunday.
