STANFORD — Lisa G. Boone, 52, of Stanford, Ky., died Monday, June 18, 2012, at Lancaster Christian Care Center.
Born March 20, 1960, in Stanford, she was a daughter of Rosalea Boone and the late C. Daniel Boone. She was in the insurance business for more than 20 years and was a member, and past elder and deacon of Stanford Christian Church. She also was a member of Tri-Delta sorority and Daughters of the American Revolution. She was a Kentucky Colonel, attended Transylvania University, University of Kentucky, and graduated from Eastern Kentucky University.
Survivors include her daughter, Mary Grace Luscher; and her mother, Rosalea Boone, both of Stanford.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Stanford Christian Church officiated by the Revs. Stewart Dawson, Joe Cooper and Jim Baughman. Burial will be in Buffalo Springs Cemetery in Stanford.
Casketbearers will be Scott Graham, Tim Cooper, Greg Reed, Dr. Mark Spurlin, Billy Teater, Brandon Adams, Lee Cave and Steve Graham.
Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Thursday at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel in Stanford and beginning at 10 a.m. Friday at the church.
