Marisue Lynn Swain Hill, age 74 passed away Dec. 25, 2012.
She was born Oct. 1, 1938 in Sterns to Dorman A. and Doris E. King Swain. Of her many accomplishments, she would say her sons were her greatest. She was also the first Miss Boyle County and at one time was named Kentucky Dental Assistant of the year. She also earned a private pilot’s license and was an avid scrapbooker. She was a 1956 graduate of Danville High School and was an Admiral fan.
She is survived by her fiancé, Richard Simpson of Danville; three sons, Chris (Debbie) Hill of Danville, Scott (Susan) Hill of Lexington and Michael (Susan) Hill of Oxford, N.C.; five grandchildren, Christina, Elizabeth, Konnor, Patrick and Hagan Hill; her mother, Doris Swain of Danville; one brother, Michael Swain of Danville; and one sister, Brenda Currin of Oxford, N.C.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years, Donald Alfred Hill.
Sue will be dearly missed by family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Heritage Hospice of Danville.
