STANFORD — Mary C. "Aggie" Lewis, 86, of Stanford, Ky., died July 17, 2012.
Born July 18, 1925, in McKinney, she was a daughter of the late George S. and Dora Gooch. She was a retired corrections officer and a member of McKinney Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, William C. Carter (Rhonda) of Elizabethtown, Ky.; a daughter, Mary Ann Pulliam (Marty) of Stanford, Ky.; four grandchildren, John and Chris Ray, Cynthia Collins and Pamela Wood; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Friday, July 20, 2012, at Hustonville Cemetery with the Rev. Joe Cooper officiating. Casketbearers will be Eddie Ray Carter, Matthew Wood, Joshua Collins, David Lewis, Dennis Martin, John Ray and Chris Ray.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday, July 19, 2012, at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel.
