Nancy Roberta Hoffman Kleckner, 88, of Danville, died Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012.
Born Jan. 12, 1924, in Wesley, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Ira Wade and Edith Claudia Day Hoffman.
She was a graduate of Beaver Falls High School in Pennsylvania and a founding member of the band’s majorette squad. Nancy earned her registered nursing degree at Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle, Pa. Nancy retired as the senior registered nurse at Danville Center for Health and Rehabilitation in the 1980s.
She was the widow of Earl Leroy Kleckner and was predeceased by a son, Jon Lee Kleckner.
Nancy is survived by her children, Earl (Trudy) Kleckner of Danville, Nancy (Tom) Camden of Burgin, David (Bonnie) Kleckner of Danville, Bill (Teresa) Kleckner of Perryville, and Amy (Robert) Thomas of Georgetown, Ohio; and a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Jon (Nancy) Kleckner of Danville; 18 grandchildren, Scott Kleckner, Melissa Rodgers, Scotty Chambers, Earl Kleckner II, Nancy Roberta League, Jennie Roberta Hettrick, Glenn Clark, Chris Camden, Crystal Mullins, Daniel Camden, David Christian Kleckner, Danielle Lee Kleckner Todd, Tera Rangel, Alex Rangel, Isabelle Morris, Jacob Simoneau, Tyler Thomas and Victoria Thomas; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, at First Christian Church. The Rev. Jerry Shepard will officiate. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Earl Kleckner, David Kleckner, Bill Kleckner, Robert Thomas, Tom Camden and Scott Kleckner.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, at Stith Funeral Home, Danville.
