LIBERTY — Shirley Jean Peyton, 68, died Thursday.
Born Aug. 15, 1944, in Cincinnati, she was the daughter of the late William Everett and Mildred Turner Hancock. She was the widow of Luther “Luke” Peyton.
Survivors include her daughter, Stephanie Peyton; step-sons Luke Peyton II and Lester Peyton; step-daughters Pam Heldman and Joy Hughes; and a sister, Helen (George) Burnett.
She was preceded in death by step-son Rodney Peyton.
Visitation is 6-9 p.m. today at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home and 11:30 a.m. until the service 1 p.m. Monday at Liberty First Baptist Church. Burial is in Glenwood Cemetery.
