LIBERTY — Violet Adams, 93, died Sunday.
Born Oct. 3, 1919, in Wayne County, Ky., she was a daughter of the late Hilary and Vina Koger Gregory. She was a homemaker and a member of Liberty First Baptist Church. She was the widow of Dr. Kearney R. Adams.
Survivors include a son, Kearney R. Adams Jr. of Mount Vernon; a daughter, Shirley (David) Morgan of Liberty; a grandchild; and a great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at McKinney-Brown Funeral home with Bro. Jimmy Brown officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home until service time.
