1940-2013
MORELAND — Vivian Patricia Wilcher Spahr, 72, of Stanford, passed away Monday Jan. 8, 2013, at home.
Born Nov. 21, 1940, she was the daughter of the late James Floyd and Dorothy Merrit Wilcher. She owned and operated the Wooden Nickel Hair Salon in Stanford and was a member of Grace Fellowship Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Gilbert Spahr; a sister, Deloris Pendergraft; and a brother, Jimmy Wilcher.
She is survived by her son, Ryan Scott (Sherri) Spahr; two brothers, Grover “G.C.” Wilcher and James Floyd “J.F.” Wilcher Jr.; four sisters, Gertrude Davis, Matilda Price, Diane Cook and Sandy Chandler; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home by Bro. Vola Brown and Harold Thompson with burial in Hustonville Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday.
Pallbearers are Scott Spahr, Darren, Jamie and Shawn Pendergraft, and Anthony and Jason McCowan.
