William Deemer
1937-2012
LANCASTER — William Franklin Deemer, 75, of Paint Lick, died Monday.
Born Sept. 28, 1937, in Pittsburgh, Pa., he was a son of the late William F. and Elizabeth Vonlan Deemer. He was in the Air Force, was a nurse anesthetist at Pattie A. Clay Hospital, and an elder at Paint Lick Presbyterian Church. He also was a master gardener, a breeder of Irish wolfhounds, and was recognized nationally for his champion dogs.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Rowe Deemer, and a brother, James Deemer of Sewickley, Pa.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Paint Lick Presbyterian Church.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday.
