William Albert Elliott, 85, died Saturday. He was the widower of Helen Ruth Farney Elliott, and husband of Mary Cornish Elliott.
Born April 26, 1927, in Mercer County, he was the son of the late John A. and Mary (Russell) Elliott.
Other survivors include two daughters, Kathy Smalley of Harrodsburg and Linda Elliott of Danville; two stepchildren and their families, Lana Tingle and Zoe Anna Sanders; two siblings, Betsy Goodlett and Roy “Leon” Elliott; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Lee Elliott.
Services will be 7 p.m. Tuesday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday.
Committal will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Spring Hill Cemetery.
Memorials suggested to Alzheimer's Association or Boyle Humane Society.
