Marie Ellis
1922-2012
MORELAND — Mary Marie King Ellis, 90, of Hustonville, went home Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012.
Born in February 1922, she was a daughter of the late William D. and Lena Williams King. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Robert Ellis; a grandson, Nicholas Peel; five brothers; and a sister.
Survivors include two daughters, Donna (Richard) Thompson and Brenda (Nick) Peel, both of Lexington; a sister, Ruby Bailey of North Carolina; two grandchildren, Shera (Bobby) Smith and Jimmy Mahan; and a great-grandson, Cameron.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home in Moreland by Bro. Daryl Hodge. Burial will be in Hustonville Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 1 p.m. Sunday.
