Margaret Harris, with the help of Secretary of State Allison Lundergan Grimes and Mercer County Clerk Chris Horn, helped the 105-year-old to register to vote. In a year when most states are experiencing an alarming assault on voting rights that people died for, Mrs. Harris at age 105 registered to vote. Theme: "NAACP Your Power, Your Decision, Vote."
The deadline to register to vote in the November 2012 presidential election is Oct. 9. The struggle continues.
