Atlanta police Capt. Van Hobbs says the woman's boyfriend called 911 Tuesday morning to say she told him she'd been bound since midnight.
He says the laptop was on her bed with her and she was able to grab her laptop computer with her feet, hit control-alt-delete on the computer to unlock it.
First the woman filled out a form on the 911.com website, using a toe to move the mouse and her other foot to type, according to police.
Then the woman went on Google chat, found her boyfriend and typed "HELP. CALL 911."
The boyfriend called police immediately.
Officers said they arrived around 5:30 a.m. to find the front door open and woman still tied to her headboard. Police said they found the basement door to the home unlocked, and believed thats how the man entered the house.
The woman was treated for a cut to the head, according to police.
Officers were still looking for her vehicle, a four door 2009 Acura TSX with tag number BGU-8496.
