the ¿Shine a Light on Lung Cancer¿ Vigil was held in conjunction with a national campaign for Lung Cancer Awareness Month, and was organized by Big Daddy¿s Race for Time Foundation, along with Commonwealth Cancer Center and the National Lung Cancer Alliance. Lung cancer is by far the most common cause of cancer death in the US each year, responsible for more deaths than breast cancer, colon cancer, and prostate cancer combined. Big Daddy¿s Race for Time Foundation was founded in 2008 after the loss of Paul Feistritzer, a local race car legend, to lung cancer.
