The newly formed Boyle County Youth Football will host its first Rebel Bowl on Saturday, with 12 games scheduled at the Boyle County high school and middle school fields.
Youth teams with players ages 6 to 12 from Louisville, Lexington, Richmond, Shelbyville, Paris, Anderson County, Mercer County, Lincoln County and Casey County will be participating, along with Boyle teams from Perryville, Junction City and Woodlawn elementary schools.
Games will start at 9 a.m., with the last kickoff scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
The event is a fundraiser to help pay for league operations that include new helmets and shoulder pads. Admission is $5 per adult; children 12 and under are free.

At Boyle County Middle School field — Anderson County vs. Casey County 3/4, 9 a.m.; Shelby County vs. Woodlawn 3/4, 11 a.m.; Anderson County Red vs. Mercer County 5/6, 1p.m.; Anderson County vs. Shelby County 1/2, 3 p.m.; Paris vs. Perryville 3/4, 5 p.m.; and Mercer County vs. Junction City 3/4, 7 p.m.
