The Titans finished at 60 percent, going 32 for 53 overall from the field and 11 for 20 from 3-point range. They actually had a lower percentage at the free-throw line, where they were 9 for 16.
“It was just a good district win for us. We shot the ball awfully well,” Mercer coach Chris Souder said.

Kandace Gash had six rebounds for the Titans, and Martin and Catheryne Claunch had five steals each.

Boys
Danville Christian 62, CCHE 43 — At Somerset, Paul Robertson scored 21 points to lead DCA over Cumberland Christian Home Educators.
The Warriors were never threatened after outscoring CCHE 18-9 in the second quarter to take a 40-23 halftime lead.
“Start to finish, we played with more energy than we have any game all season and got a nice win against a hard-working team,” DCA coach Jeremy Tarter said. “Paul Robertson is coming into his own and discovering just how effective he can be offensively when he works hard and plays strong.”
Zach Tarter added 16 points for DCA. Caleb Tarter had nine of the Warriors’ 47 rebounds, Jo Ellis and Zach Tarter had eight rebounds each and Josh Asmus had three assists.
“The stats will never show it, but our best performance was by freshman Josh Asmus, who once again drew our opponent’s best player and held him to less than half his season average.”
DCA shot 44 percent (24 for 54) from the field and hit 14 of 21 free throws.
