Danville Christian Academy 65, Fox Creek 48 — At Harrodsburg, Zach Tarter scored 18 points and grabbed 21 rebounds and led four players in double figures in a win over Fox Creek Christian.

Mercer County 72, Burgin 39 — At Burgin, Catheryne Claunch scored 17 points and Cassidy Martin 18 to lead the Titans (9-4, 2-0) to an easy 46th District win over the host Bulldogs.
Mercer led 24-10 after the first quarter and 44-14 at the half.
“We got off to a good start, which I was glad to see because we hadn’t played in a week,”¿said Mercer coach Chris Souder, whose team shot 24 of 55 from the floor and made 10 of 24 3-pointers.
Burgin (8-8, 1-1) was led by Randi Burke’s 13 points, while Taylor Sanders had 12 and Summer Burke 11 points.
Micah Christian 41, Danville Christian Academy 37 — At Louisville, the Warriors (8-7) saw their fourth quarter rally fall short in a loss to Micah Christian.
Katherine Raines scored 13 points with 13 rebounds, three assists, three steals and three blocked shots for DCA, which trailed 20-14 at the half and 25-17 after three quarters before making the game close.
“We started out flat and then picked up our intensity after halftime. We looked like two different teams, awful in the first half and awesome in the second half,”¿coach Jamie Middleton said. “Our defensive intensity we brought at the start of the third quarter propelled our comeback.
