Prep Football: Casey falls to Taylor 46-18
Casey County fumbled the ball away four times Friday, and Taylor County ripped off 34 straight points as the Rebels fell to 0-2 on the season with a 46-18 loss at Campbellsville.
Alex Bolin ran for 157 yards and three touchdowns on 18 carries and Wyatt Bishop ran 14 times for 109 yards.
Bolin had scoring runs of 56 and 4 yards to put Casey up 12-6 early in the second quarter. But it was all Taylor from there, as the Cardinals scored the last two touchdowns of the first half and turned an 18-12 halftime into a 33-12 lead after three quarters.
Taylor ran for 467 yards on 54 carries and outgained Casey 480-305. Casey finished with 290 yards rushing on 38 attempts and lost all four of its fumbles.
