Ken-Jah Bosley caught a 10-yard touchdown pass from Hunter Stocker in the second overtime Friday night to give the Madison Central (2-0) a 19-13 win over visiting Mercer County (1-1) in Richmond.
James Johnson had a 10-yard touchdn run to open the scoring for the Titans, and Russell Sims caught a 65-yard touchdown pass from Austin Sparrow in the fourth quarter.
“Our kids played hard, and we were really aggessive. it was just a tough loss,”¿Mercer coach Chris Pardue said. “We had chances to win and we just didn’t capitalize on them.”
It was 7-all going to the fourth quarter. Bosley had an 80-yard touchdown catch from Stocker, but the kick failed to make it 13-7.

Mercer had its chances in the first overtime, stopping Madison Central, but missed a field goal for the win. After Mercer was stopped in the second overtime, the Indians got the win on Bosley’s TD reception on third down.
