The Danville boys golf team resumed a match suspended by weather last week against West Jessamine and the Admirals came away with a 152-164 win over the Colts at Danville County Club.
J.B. Williams shot a 1-under-par 35 to lead Danville, which is unbeaten in dual match play going into their final dual match of the season today against Casey County. Andrew McKinney shot a 36.
Danville was down to West Jessamine with four holes to play before play was suspended last week. Danville coach Marc Williams said this was a big win for his team against a quality opponent.
“It's natural that we would measure ourselves against them,” Danville coach Marc Williams said. “They won intraconference play and the (conference) tournament last year, so a win over them feels good.”
Lincoln County 188, Garrard County 193 — At Stanford, Zach Johnson shot 39 to lead Lincoln over Garrard at Dix River Country Club.
Lincoln Gay shot a 46 to lead the Garrard.
