Prep Golf: Danville boys win 12th Region All 'A' Classic

The Danville boys earn a berth in the All “A” Classic by rolling to a victory in the 12th Region All “A” Classic on Tuesday at Danville Country Club.
Danville shot 311 to win the four-team regional by 34 strokes over second-place Somerset and clinch a spot in the statewide small-school tournament Sept. 8.
Andrew McKinney, J.B. Williams and Nick Serey were tightly bunched at the top of the Admirals’ scorecard, as McKinney shot 75, followed by Williams at 76 and Serey at 77.
Megan Hughes of Burgin earned an individual qualifying spot for the state All “A” by shooting 110.
East Jessamine 165, Boyle County 188 — At Danville, Dakota Jarman was the match medalist with a 3-under-par 33 at Danville Country Club, but Boyle lost its first Kentucky Bluegrass Conference match of the season.
