Zach Johnson shot 1-under-par 35 to lead the Lincoln County boys to a 32-stroke victory over Mercer County on Monday at Harrodsburg.
Roland Taylor shot 36 for Lincoln at Bright Leaf, while Austin Satterly led Mercer with a 43.
“I’m very impressed with the way Lincoln County played today. They’ve got a very nice team with a lot of quality players,” Mercer coach Jay Anderson said. “We just continue to struggle. We’re a very young team.
“We started a sophomore, three freshmen and an eighth-grader today.”
