Christian Gateskill-Fuqua score all four goals for the Danville boys on Wednesday as the Admirals posted a 4-1 senior night win over visiting Madison Central at Reynolds Field.
"This was a great win for us coming off a poor showing (Tuesday) night,”¿Danville coach Brent Beauman said. “It was nice to see the boys play so very well on this night of celebration of their time here at DHS soccer.”
Damir Karapandzic, Dylan Mullins, Noe Ayala, and Calvin Steber assisted on the goals for Danville (8-5-2).
Girls
Marion County 4, Danville 2 — At Lebanon, the Danville girls saw their two-game winning streak snapped in a loss at Marion County.
The Knights led 3-1 at the half, theN scored their final goal four minutes into the second half.
Marion scored five minutes into the game, but Chloe Anderson tied it off an assist from Fariha Siddiqui. Siddiqui scored Danville’s final goal off an assist from Emma Jackson.
Danville (6-5-2) was outshot 6-5, and Katie Nelson had two saves.
