The Danville wrestling team went 3-1 Saturday at the Wayne County Duals.
Three wresters were 3-1 with three pins, Daniel Lannum (132), Zach Phillips (113) and Carson Soulter (138), while Shamus Sallee (182) and Elliott Porter (285) each went 2-1 with two pins.
The Admirals opened with a 43-42 win over Scott County. The match was tied at 42-all, but Danville got the win since the Ads had four pins to Scott’s one.
Danville then beat Whitley County 42-29 and McCreary Central 36-34 before falling to Wayne 79-0 in its final match.
