Prep Softball: Kasey Young, Jordyn Perry go deep as Danville beats Casey County 14-3
Kasey Young had a pair of two-run home runs, Jordyn Perry smacked another two-run shot and Danville cruised to a 14-3 win Monday over visiting Casey County.
Young hit her first-two-run bomb in the fifth inning, which was followed by a Perry’s two-run shot. Young then ended the game with a two-run shot in the bottom of the sixth inning. Young finished with four RBIs and Perry three for the Admirals (7-4).
Kayla Breitenbach had a hit, reached bases four times and scored four runs, Breanna Turpin drove in a run and scored twice, Emma Breitenbach had two hits, an RBI and two runs scored and Madison Phillips added a double.
Bailey Carson got the win, striking out 10 and walking two.
Casey (0-9) got solo home runs from Amber Wesley and Abby Buis in the fourth inning.
